because I work for them, I got to go backstage at LFW for the SS12 show and help dress/style the models. IT WAS SO FUN. I only took a few photos because I was so busy and also just people watching the whole time:

this was the model I shot above:

and this is a shot taken from the Aquascutum website:

LOVED this collection, the pale delicate silk slips with detailing in the middle were so effortless and chic. I think Francisco Costa managed to illustrate that minimalism is as much about luxury as complex printing can be and that despite the fact that the overall look is ‘simple’, it is one hundred percent not. Love everything. He’s said this latest collection has developed from a fascination with pre-Raphaelite art.
As Vogue said nicely, the dresses clung to the body following the lines of and emphasising the physicality beneath.

Jason Wu showed a beautiful collection on Friday - proving that waists are still the main focus of Spring Summer 2012. Skirts remained cinched in at the waist and then flowed over the hips to mid-length creating a perfect hourglass, while shorts were in contrast very short but still gathered at the waist. All blouses and dresses also met a the waist before curving out over the hips. Colour-wise: a neutral palette of white, blue and black prints mixed with pastel pinks and yellows. Texture was also a theme here, with jewel encrusted collars on blouses and fronts of dresses.

If you were one of the lucky people that got their hands on these Topshop equivalent Acne Pistol boots the first time round were particularly quick - they sold out online in 20minutes and nationwide stores in 2hours..
If you were one of the losers that then checked daily (i’m not joking) to see if/when they came back on the website, and one day found them (they were there for no longer than one day), you now HAVE A PAIR.

These are the Acne Pistols:

This is a re-blog from months ago, about Monki and my campaign to get in the UK. It launched in Selfridges this morning = HAAAAAPPY ME.
